Rajasthan CM Sharma: No paper leaks, 1.25 lakh govt jobs filled under BJP rule
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on 30 April 2025 declared that his government has filled 1.25 lakh government jobs without a single paper leak, drawing a sharp contrast with the previous administration as he addressed the inauguration of a new girls' college and the 10th foundation day of the Rajeshwar Bhagwan Anjani Mata Kanya Gurukul Sansthan in Rohat, Pali district. The event underscored the state government's dual push on employment and women's education.
Employment Drive and Recruitment Targets
Chief Minister Sharma outlined an ambitious jobs roadmap, stating that the government aims to create 10 lakh jobs in total — 4 lakh in the government sector and 6 lakh in the private sector. Of these, recruitment for 1.33 lakh posts is currently underway, and a recruitment calendar for an additional 1.25 lakh posts has already been released. In the private sector, approximately 3 lakh jobs have been generated so far under various state initiatives.
