Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday, 30 April issued a stern warning to private schools across the capital, declaring that no institution may compel parents to purchase books, uniforms, stationery, or any other supplies exclusively from the school itself or from a designated vendor. She made clear that violations will attract the toughest legal action available — including a potential school takeover.
