Chandigarh, April 18 (NationPress) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated on Friday that opposition factions, at both national and state levels, are discreetly commending the public welfare initiatives of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, especially his vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, and Sabka Vishwas’.

However, in a bid to sustain their presence, the opposition finds itself compelled to engage in protests. The Chief Minister conveyed these insights while addressing the media in Beed Mathana village, located in the Kurukshetra district.

During the observance of Guru Tegh Bahadur's Prakash Parv, the Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the populace. He lauded Guru Tegh Bahadur for his unmatched sacrifice, emphasizing that he relinquished his entire family to safeguard the nation and its faith. “There is no greater sacrifice in the world, and such a sacrifice can never be forgotten.”

In response to inquiries, the Chief Minister remarked that former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the BJP government of harassment, yet ultimately, he faced incarceration following court directives. He stated, “If Congress leaders have not done anything wrong, they should not fear investigations. If the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning them, they should cooperate fully with the investigation.”

Addressing another question regarding the Waqf Act, the Chief Minister asserted that this Bill was opposed by the opposition solely for political gain. He further noted that the BJP government has now introduced a carefully considered and widely accepted Act.

When queried about the current political landscape, the Chief Minister indicated that there is effectively no opposition remaining, as the BJP has now been compelled to adopt the role of the opposition. He further highlighted that despite their protests, members of the opposition are quietly acknowledging the public welfare measures of Prime Minister Modi.
