Chennai, April 8 (NationPress) Actress Payal Rajput, known for her remarkable performances, announced that her father, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is heading to his first chemotherapy session. On Tuesday, she reached out to her fans and well-wishers, asking for their love, support, and positive energy during this challenging time.

The talented actress, recognized for films such as ‘RX100’, ‘RDX Love’, and ‘Mangalavaram’, took to her X timeline to share the heartbreaking news of her father's cancer diagnosis.

She wrote, “Hello everyone. My father has recently been diagnosed with esophageal carcinoma (cancer). We have decided to start treatment at Kim's hospital, and today marks his first chemotherapy session. I’m feeling a bit anxious about this lengthy journey ahead, but we understand it’s essential. My dad is resilient and determined to recover.”

She continued, “Even during this tough time, my father inspires me to continue my work and return to my shoots and events. As I navigate this difficult journey, I wanted to update all of you. Your love, support, and positive vibes are invaluable to us right now. We remain hopeful for his recovery, and every blessing counts as we confront this battle against cancer together.”

It was heartwarming to witness the immediate response from numerous fans and well-wishers, sending their wishes for her father’s speedy recovery and assuring her that he would be okay.

Currently, Payal is engaged in several film projects, including a Telugu film titled ‘VenkataLachimi’, directed by Muni, which the producers aim to release in three languages: Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi.

In addition, Payal stars opposite Legend Saravanan in his second Tamil film, helmed by the renowned director R S Durai Senthilkumar.

While Payal Rajput appears alongside Legend Saravanan, the Tamil film will also showcase actors Shaam and Andrea in significant roles.

This untitled film is a high-budget project directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar, known for his blockbuster hits like ‘Kakki Sattai’, ‘Kodi’, and the recent successful ‘Garudan’.

The initial phase of filming was completed in Chennai, while the second phase took place in and around Panikka Nadar Kudiyiruppu in Thoothukudi, which is Legend Saravanan's hometown.

Sources indicate that the new film is set to deliver an exhilarating action-packed experience inspired by real events, situated against the backdrop of Thoothukudi.

The film's music will be composed by Gibran, with cinematography handled by S. Venkatesh and editing by Pradeep.
