Chennai, April 1 (NationPress) Acclaimed actress Payal Rajput, renowned for her roles in films such as RX100, RDX Love, and Mangalvaaram, has recently voiced her concerns regarding the prevalence of nepotism and favoritism that often eclipses genuine talent within the film industry.

In a post on the social media platform X this Tuesday, Payal Rajput stated, “Pursuing a career in acting is one of the most challenging paths one can take. Every day begins with the burden of uncertainty, as I navigate a realm where nepotism and favoritism frequently overshadow true talent.”

She candidly shared her feelings of doubt, wondering if her diligence and passion would ever be recognized in a landscape that favors those with connections.

“There are times when I find myself questioning if my hard work and commitment can genuinely stand out in a setting that is often ruled by privilege. I see opportunities fading away, claimed by those with renowned family names or influential agents, leaving me to wonder if my talent is sufficient to make a mark,” she expressed.

To emphasize the reality of this issue, she included the hashtag #Struggleisreal.

Currently, Payal is involved in several projects, including the Telugu film titled ‘VenkataLachimi’, directed by Muni, which aims for a release in three languages: Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. She announced in January that filming would commence in February.

In addition, Payal stars alongside Legend Saravanan in his second Tamil film, directed by the well-regarded R S Durai Senthilkumar.

This untitled Tamil film also features notable actors Shaam and Andrea in significant roles, and is a high-budget production helmed by R S Durai Senthilkumar, celebrated for hits like ‘Kakki Sattai’, ‘Kodi’, and the recent blockbuster ‘Garudan’.

The initial shooting phase was wrapped up in Chennai, while the second phase took place in and around Panikka Nadar Kudiyiruppu in Thoothukudi, which is Legend Saravanan’s hometown.

Insiders suggest that the new film is set to offer an exhilarating action-packed narrative based on real events, set against the backdrop of Thoothukudi.

Music will be composed by Gibran, with cinematography by S. Venkatesh and editing by Pradeep. The art direction is overseen by Durairaj, while Ambikapathi serves as the executive producer.
