New Delhi, Nov 20 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed warm wishes to the newly sworn-in Bihar Ministers, including Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, during a ceremony held on Thursday.
Nitish Kumar took the oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar, administered by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan at the iconic Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
Alongside Nitish Kumar, several ministers including Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Mangal Pandey, Dilip Jaiswal, Shravan Kumar, and Bijendra Yadav were also sworn in.
The Prime Minister expressed his congratulations to all the ministers post-ceremony.
In a message on X, PM Modi stated, "My best wishes to everyone who has taken the oath as Ministers in the Bihar Government. This is a wonderful team, with committed leaders poised to elevate Bihar to new heights. I wish them all the best."
Samrat Choudhary was sworn in immediately after Nitish Kumar and now serves as one of the Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar.
Vijay Sinha was next to take the oath and has also stepped into the role of Deputy Chief Minister.
"Congratulations to Shri Samrat Chaudhary Ji and Shri Vijay Sinha Ji on their appointments as Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar. Both leaders have diligently served the grassroots community. Wishing them the best," the Prime Minister remarked in another post.
Earlier, PM Modi congratulated Nitish Kumar for his oath-taking as Chief Minister, recognizing him as an experienced administrator with a history of good governance in the state.
On X, PM Modi shared, "Congratulations to Shri Nitish Kumar Ji on his oath as Bihar's Chief Minister. He is an experienced administrator with a proven record of good governance for many years. I wish him success in his upcoming tenure."
