New Delhi, May 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver the 122nd episode of his monthly radio show, Mann Ki Baat, on Sunday, May 25 at 11 a.m.

In the previous episode, PM Modi issued a decisive message to the terrorists behind the attack on innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, vowing that those responsible for this heinous act would encounter the sternest consequences.

He also reassured the victims' families that justice would prevail.

During the 121st episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' on April 27, PM Modi expressed, "As I share my thoughts with you today, my heart is filled with deep sorrow. The Pahalgam terror attack on April 22 has left every citizen devastated. All Indians share profound sympathy for the families affected. Regardless of their state or language, everyone feels the anguish of those who lost loved ones in this tragedy."

He continued, "I realize that every Indian is furious upon witnessing the images of this terrorist attack. This incident in Pahalgam highlights the desperation of those who support terrorism; it showcases their cowardice."

"At a moment when peace was returning to Kashmir, educational institutions were thriving, construction was booming, democracy was strengthening, tourism was reaching record highs, and livelihoods were improving, the enemies of our nation and Kashmir were troubled by this progress," PM Modi stated.

"The terrorists and their handlers desire to plunge Kashmir back into chaos, which is why such a catastrophic conspiracy was devised," he added.

The Prime Minister emphasized that in the battle against terrorism, the unity of the nation and the solidarity of 140 crore Indians are our greatest assets.

In the last Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi also reflected on the significance of the months of April and May during India's struggle for independence, honoring the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in that era.

He addressed the challenges faced by farmers, particularly in Bihar, where they were compelled by the British to cultivate indigo, a crop that depleted the soil.

Recalling Gandhiji's arrival, he shared, "The farmers expressed to Gandhiji, 'Our land is dying; we lack food.' The suffering of countless farmers ignited a resolve within Gandhiji. This was the inception of the historic Satyagraha of Champaran."

PM Modi also paid homage to Dr. Rajendra Prasad, India’s first President, who played a pivotal role in the Satyagraha. He urged young people to read Rajendra Prasad's book, 'Satyagraha in Champaran', stressing the importance of understanding our historical struggles.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of May, with the anniversary of the first battle for India’s independence approaching.
