New Delhi, April 27 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday delivered a powerful message to the terrorists accountable for the attack on innocent tourists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, asserting that those behind this despicable act will encounter the harshest response.

He reassured the victims' families that justice will prevail.

In the 121st edition of his monthly radio show 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi expressed, "Today, as I share my heartfelt thoughts with you, my heart is heavy with sorrow. The April 22 Pahalgam terror attack has shattered every citizen's spirit. Every Indian feels profound empathy for the victims' families. Regardless of state or language, the pain of those who lost their loved ones resonates with us all in this attack."

"I recognize that every Indian is outraged upon witnessing the aftermath of the terrorist attack. This incident in Pahalgam symbolizes the frustration of those who support terrorism; it exemplifies their cowardice," he stated.

"As peace began to return to Kashmir, schools and colleges flourished, construction projects surged, democracy strengthened, a record influx of tourists was observed, and people's livelihoods improved, the enemies of the nation and Jammu and Kashmir could not tolerate this," PM Modi elaborated.

"The terrorists and their backers aim to plunge Kashmir back into chaos, which is why such a nefarious scheme was devised," he continued.

The Prime Minister emphasized that in this battle against terrorism, the unity of the nation and the solidarity of 140 crore Indians are our greatest assets.

"This unity is the foundation of our decisive struggle against terrorism. We must bolster our determination to confront this national challenge. As a united front, we need to exhibit resolute willpower. The world is observing as our entire nation stands united following this terrorist attack," he asserted.

Recognizing the global wave of condolences, PM Modi remarked, "The fury we Indians are experiencing is shared worldwide. Following the terror attack, tributes have been flooding in from all corners of the globe. I have also received communications from international leaders who vehemently condemned this atrocious act. They have conveyed their sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives. The entire world is with 140 crore Indians in our battle against terrorism."

"I once again assure the families of the victims that they will receive justice. Justice will assuredly be delivered. The architects and executors of this attack will face the harshest consequences," PM Modi concluded.
