New Delhi, July 30 (NationPress) JD(U) spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad firmly supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks in the Lok Sabha during the discussion on 'Operation Sindoor', accusing the Opposition of misleading the public regarding critical foreign policy issues.
In an interview with IANS, he stated, “Prime Minister Modi has provided a robust and transparent response to the Opposition's inquiries. The Opposition has been relentlessly criticizing the Centre concerning US President Trump’s involvement, mediation, and the trade agreement. They were attempting to confuse the public, but yesterday, in unequivocal terms, PM Modi clarified India’s position on the trade deal, asserting that no such agreement exists. Concerning the inquiry about American mediation, he categorically dismissed it.”
During a heated session on Tuesday, PM Modi praised the Armed Forces for their prompt response through 'Operation Sindoor', following the Pahalgam terror attack.
Highlighting India’s firm stance against terrorism, he remarked, “This is the new normal.” His address directly tackled queries from the Opposition regarding international intervention and strategic choices, emphasizing that India’s actions are sovereign and uncompromising.
Furthermore, Rajeev Ranjan commended the Bihar government’s decision to enhance the honorarium for ASHA and Mamta workers, dubbing it a “historic decision.”
“CM Nitish Kumar has prioritized the welfare of every segment of society. This initiative will elevate their livelihoods. The conditions prior to 2005 were dire. Today, the health infrastructure has undergone a complete transformation,” he asserted.
On Wednesday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar revealed that the honorarium for ASHA workers would rise from Rs 1,000 to Rs 3,000 per month, while Mamta workers will now earn Rs 600 per delivery, an increase from Rs 300 previously.
This decision aims to enhance rural health services and acknowledge the vital role of frontline workers in government health initiatives, particularly in maternal and child healthcare.
