The Mirzachauki PM SHRI High School has experienced an impressive enhancement in its infrastructure, teaching methodologies, and student participation following its selection for this transformative program.

Designed to create exemplary schools nationwide, the PM SHRI Schools scheme aims to deliver modern, intelligent, and high-quality education, aligning with the objectives outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

This initiative prioritizes the provision of cutting-edge facilities while simultaneously fortifying the teaching-learning process.

At Mirzachauki PM SHRI High School, students are now reaping the benefits of smart classrooms, digital boards, advanced laboratories, enhanced library resources, clean sanitation facilities, and a secure campus environment. These infrastructural advancements have significantly improved the overall academic climate of the school.

The scheme also focuses on teacher capacity building.

Rajnikant Dwivedi, headmaster at Mirzachauki PM SHRI High School, noted that there are currently 14 PM SHRI schools operating in Sahibganj district, with Mirzachauki being one of them.

"The government's initiative aims to provide superior education for children, and ongoing efforts are being made in this direction. After being designated a PM SHRI school, facilities such as a library and an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) lab have been established, greatly benefiting students," he explained to IANS.

Teachers at the school have also recognized the positive effects of the initiative.

Chandan Kumar, a teacher, remarked that the scheme has been instrumental in cultivating a better learning environment.

"Students now have access to vital resources, which is reflected in their academic performance and results," he added.

Students have also witnessed a substantial transformation in their educational experience.

Simran, a Class 10 student, emphasized the supportive nature of teachers and the increased opportunities for involvement in social and cultural activities.

"Our teachers guide us very well, and we are encouraged to participate in various events," she stated.

Another student, Pihu, shared that since the school was upgraded under the PM SHRI scheme in 2024, numerous positive changes have occurred.

"The school has become more disciplined, every subject is given equal focus, and teachers are incredibly supportive," she mentioned.

School authorities report improvements not only in infrastructure but also in attendance, student interest, and confidence levels.

The initiative is nurturing creativity, skill development, and digital learning, making students more enthusiastic and self-sufficient.
