It’s not only the child who is terrified of the elderly woman, known as Pavunu Thaayi. The entire village seems to scatter at the sight of her. We learn that Pavunu Thaayi is a merciless moneylender, willing to go to any lengths to collect her dues from the villagers. She is a source of dread for the community, with many questioning why this woman continues to thrive while virtuous souls pass away.
Pavunu Thaayi is fully aware of the villagers’ animosity towards her. She quips, "If I am to die tomorrow, I will walk to the graveyard myself and lay in my grave. I am a robust woman. I suffer from no ailments." The teaser concludes with suspense regarding the villagers' fate and whether the old woman will meet her end...
