What Did Rajasthan CM Discuss With LS Speaker and Union Ministers?

Jaipur, Aug 19 (NationPress) On his recent trip to New Delhi, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had a significant meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and various Union Ministers to deliberate on multiple development projects and public welfare schemes related to the state.

During a cordial visit at Parliament House, Sharma engaged in a productive dialogue with the Lok Sabha Speaker regarding public interests, focusing on development-driven initiatives and the execution of welfare programs.

He also congratulated Birla on the Union Cabinet’s endorsement of the Kota-Bundi Greenfield Airport, marking a crucial advancement for the region, which was led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister had extensive discussions with Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Jayant Chaudhary.

A primary focus was the proposal to create a language lab in Jaipur, aimed at improving the language skills of Rajasthan’s youth, enabling them to compete on a global scale and discover new job prospects.

Sharma further discussed educational innovations and the rollout of the New Education Policy with the Education Minister, urging the Centre to expedite the disbursement of financial support to the state under the annual action plan.

Additionally, the Chief Minister met with Union Minister of Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports, Mansukh Mandaviya, to assess preparations for the Khelo India University Games-2025, which will take place in Rajasthan.

Conversations revolved around various event aspects and long-term strategies for enhancing sports infrastructure within the state.

Mandaviya commended the Chief Minister Yuva Rojgar Protsahan Yojana, calling it a landmark initiative to fulfill the aspirations of the youth.

Sharma also had a discussion with Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil at his residence, addressing the progress of key water projects, including the Ramjal Setu Link Project, along with implementation strategies and future plans.

A meeting was held with Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju, attended by Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy Prahlad Joshi, Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Minister of Law and Justice (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal.

In conclusion, Sharma met with Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences and Minister of State for Personnel and Public Grievances Jitendra Singh. The discussion centered on the coordination with the Department of Personnel and Training regarding civil servants from Rajasthan.
