Jaipur, Aug 2 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma had a significant meeting on Saturday with union ministers, including Amit Shah and Hardeep Singh Puri, in New Delhi.

In his message on X, the Chief Minister expressed, “In New Delhi, I had the privilege of visiting the esteemed Union Minister of Home Affairs and Cooperation, Shri @AmitShah, where I received his valuable guidance.”

Furthermore, the Chief Minister briefed the Union Minister about various innovations, public welfare schemes, and priorities being pursued by the double-engine government in Rajasthan aimed at enhancing governance and public welfare.

“I also updated him about the upcoming exhibition intended to highlight the institutional reforms within the judicial system, showcasing the positive public trust that has evolved following the successful implementation of new laws in our state,” he noted.

He emphasized that under the capable leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the unwavering support of HM Amit Shah, the 'New Rajasthan of New India' is soaring to new heights of development.

“As part of my ongoing initiatives under the vision of Aapno Agrani Rajasthan, I am consistently engaging with Union Ministers to expedite development in our state,” he shared on X.

During his interaction with Amit Shah, discussions revolved around board appointments, which have been pending for quite some time.

On the previous day, Arun Chaturvedi, the former BJP president, was named as the Chairperson of the Finance Board. “It is vital to accommodate state, division, and district levels,” sources indicated.

The conversation with Puri concentrated on crucial matters concerning the petroleum sector, including the proposed refinery project in the state.

“In New Delhi, I had the honour of visiting the Honourable Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri,” the Chief Minister mentioned on X.

“We engaged in thorough discussions regarding the expedited initiation of the Rajasthan Refinery and various projects related to the petroleum and gas sector,” he added.

Before his trip to Delhi, Chief Minister Sharma participated in crucial meetings with central ministers regarding essential issues like water, electricity, urban development, mining, and environmental matters.

Prior to his departure for Delhi, he attended two events in Rajasthan.

In Banswara, he was present at a state-level recognition event for farmers. Following this, he visited Salumber and addressed the 45-day Shravan Kumbh Mahotsav at Dhaulagarh Dham in Kenar village.

He highlighted the contributions of India’s sages and saints to the nation’s culture and philosophy.

“Wherever they go, they disseminate the message of brotherhood through their noble ideas. It is thanks to the wisdom and guidance of these saints that the Sanatan culture is esteemed as the greatest worldwide,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister also announced the development of a Tribal Tourism Circuit in the budget for 2025-26.

“This circuit will feature significant tribal faith centers such as Tripura Sundari, Mangarh Dham, Beneshwar Dham, Sitamata Sanctuary, Rishabhdev, Gautameshwar Temple, and Matrikundiya,” he stated.

The Chief Minister further observed that all dams in the state were filled during the previous year's monsoon season, with most reaching capacity as early as July this year.

“This abundant rainfall is fostering prosperity for our farmers,” he commented.

He reiterated that the advancement of farmers, the impoverished, youth, and women will ultimately drive the progress of both the state and the nation.
