Jaipur, March 11 (NationPress) Last year marked the inception of Rajasthan Day celebrations initiated by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada.
This year, the state government plans to commemorate Rajasthan Day with a series of programs and events spanning the state, coinciding with Chaitra Shukla Pratipada on March 19.
The festivities will kick off on March 14 and will continue until March 19, starting with a seven-day Cleanliness Week beginning on March 14. During this week, state-level activities will take place in Jaipur, while district-level events will unfold in every district.
On March 15, the Vikas Rajasthan Run will commence in Jaipur, initiated by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. Similar runs are scheduled to occur in each district.

On March 16, the state will honor Rajasthan Tribal Pride Day at Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur, featuring foundation stone ceremonies, tribal art exhibits, and dialogue programs.
A significant Youth Conference is planned in Jaipur on March 17 to celebrate Rajasthan Youth Power Day, where the ‘Know Rajasthan’ quiz will also take place in all districts.
Evening activities will include discussions with entrepreneurs and the distribution of employment letters in the private sector.
On March 18, the state will celebrate Farmers and Animal Husbandry Prosperity Day with farmer interactions and foundation stone inaugurations for development projects.
The evening will culminate with the Maha Aarti at government temples throughout the state, with participation from the Chief Minister.
The grand culmination of Rajasthan Day will occur in Jalore on March 19, featuring a Beneficiary Conference aimed at facilitating communication and direct benefit transfers. A grand cultural program is also set to take place in Jaipur that evening.
