The Chief Minister issued these directives during a high-level review meeting held at his official residence.
Key Directions from the Chief Minister
Sharma stated that the government remains committed to the welfare of youth, women, farmers, and the underprivileged, along with the overall development of Rajasthan. He directed all departments to prepare a comprehensive plan to highlight the government's achievements, the pace of development, and its key policies for a broad public audience.
He also called for a detailed action plan to organise anniversary-related programmes across various districts of the state, stressing the need for excellent arrangements and facilities for all visitors. The Chief Secretary was directed to regularly review and monitor the progress of preparations.
Three Years of Development: What the Government Claims
According to the Chief Minister, the state government has achieved significant milestones over the past three years across sectors including power, water, roads, education, healthcare, employment, environment, and industry. Sharma also noted that Rajasthan is currently leading in the implementation of 30 different schemes.
Through the Viksit Gram-Shahri Ward Abhiyan (Developed Village and Urban Ward Campaign), a comprehensive roadmap has been prepared for the holistic development of villages and cities by 2047, the Chief Minister said.
Youth, Technology, and Heritage at the Centre
Sharma suggested organising programmes and competitions to familiarise young people with the lives and contributions of iconic personalities such as Maharana Pratap, Maharaja Surajmal, Amrita Devi, and Meera Bai. He also stressed the need to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other modern technologies to make anniversary activities more engaging and informative for youth.
Visitors will reportedly be allowed to witness Rajasthan's ongoing transformation and gain insight into the state's vision for the future, according to the directions issued at the meeting.
