The Assembly will also discuss and pass the Maharana Pratap Sports University Bill, 2026. Additionally, the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2026, aimed at abolishing the two-child norm for Panchayati Raj elections, was passed on Monday.
On Tuesday, the Assembly is anticipated to pass the Rajasthan Municipalities (Amendment) Bill, 2026, which will eliminate the restriction preventing individuals with more than two children from contesting local body elections.
The Chief Minister also encouraged party members to actively engage in the forthcoming Rajasthan Day celebrations.
The festivities will kick off with a Swachhata Abhiyan (cleanliness drive) followed by a Viksit Run (development run). Numerous activities will take place across the state, including essay competitions in schools, a One District One Product exhibition, a Tribal Art exhibition, and a Yuva Shakti Mela.
The program will also feature interactions with industrialists, a farmers’ conference, and aarti ceremonies in temples. The celebrations in Jaipur will culminate with a cultural evening and a fireworks display.
