Jaipur, Jan 27 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma convened a meeting of the BJP Legislative Party at his residence on Tuesday, focusing on the imminent Budget Session.

During this session, he engaged in thorough discussions with MLAs regarding floor management and urged them to present the government's position in the House with vigor.

The Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the Budget Session, which begins on Wednesday.

He stated that the state government is set to unveil a comprehensive and inclusive budget that aligns with public expectations and propels Rajasthan’s growth.

Sharma encouraged MLAs to showcase the accomplishments of the government over the past two years during the session.

He stressed the importance of MLAs being present for extended periods, understanding Assembly rules thoroughly, and effectively communicating the government's stance on various matters.

Additionally, he instructed ministers to provide strong and appropriate responses to opposition inquiries, asserting that misleading allegations from the opposition must be countered with facts and seriousness.

The Chief Minister remarked that citizens have elected representatives from both ruling and opposition parties to contribute to the state’s advancement. Public representatives must advocate for issues affecting common people with a positive outlook. He affirmed that the BJP government is dedicated to fulfilling its promises to the populace.

“In just two years, our administration has implemented significant reforms and achieved remarkable outcomes in various sectors. The Congress cannot defend its five-year tenure when compared to our two years of success,” he stated.

Sharma noted that with essential priorities like water in focus, the government has made major decisions including the Ram Jal Setu project, the Yamuna water agreement, and the Dewas project.

Ensuring adequate and consistent power supply, farmers in 22 districts now benefit from daytime electricity.

He stated that significant progress has been made in enhancing law and order and creating job opportunities for youth, with over one lakh government jobs already provided and the recruitment process for more than 1.54 lakh posts currently ongoing.

A recruitment calendar for an additional one lakh posts has been released for this year. He mentioned that budget announcements are being swiftly acted upon, with over 70% of the commitments made in the party manifesto already realized during the two-year period.

Out of the Memorandums of Understanding worth ₹35 lakh crore signed during the Rising Rajasthan Summit, projects valued at approximately ₹8 lakh crore have already been executed.

The Chief Minister concluded that farmers, youth, women, and all societal segments are expressing satisfaction with the government’s policies, industrial investments, and development-driven decisions.

BJP State President Madan Rathore, Deputy Chief Ministers Diya Kumari and Premchand Bairwa, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Chief Whip Jogeshwar Garg, along with other BJP MLAs, were present at the legislative party meeting.
