She took to her official Instagram to share a video showcasing her unique interpretation of this trend.

In the video, Rakul is initially seen in casual attire, devoid of makeup or styled hair, preparing to reveal her transformation into a glamorous look. To the audience's surprise, an empty chair suddenly appears in the frame, with Rakul mysteriously absent.

Moments later, she reappears, stunningly dressed in a gorgeous black gown adorned with golden accents. Her look is completed with a striking golden choker and matching earrings, while her hair is styled in a chic high ponytail.

For her makeup, Rakul opted for a matte brown lip color complemented by shimmering golden eyeshadow.

She cleverly dubbed her process 'Get Ready Without Me'.

Reflecting on the past year, Rakul expressed her gratitude for 2025, calling it a year filled with lessons, love, and growth.

In a heartfelt video montage shared on Instagram, she wrote, “2025, you were rich in lessons, love, and personal development. A year filled with stories to share, work to be proud of, cherished memories, and the warmth of wonderful people.”

“I’m immensely thankful for all the opportunities, support, and kindness that enveloped me throughout the year. Here’s to embracing 2026 with optimism, purpose, and excitement for the future,” she added.

On the professional front, Rakul was last seen in the film 'De De Pyaar De 2', alongside Ajay Devgn.

She is also set to star in the highly anticipated sequel 'Pati Patni Aur Woh Do', where she will share the screen with Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Ayushmann recently mentioned that this upcoming film evokes memories of the classic 1978 movie featuring Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha, and Ranjeeta Kaur.
