Mumbai, March 27 (NationPress) Choreographer Remo D'Souza has shared insights regarding the dance abilities of Bollywood legends Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
He expressed admiration for the dance capabilities of these film icons, highlighting their knack for grasping dance moves with ease. Remo specifically noted that both SRK and Salman are remarkable dancers, while also recognizing other actors like Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol for their distinctive styles and dedication to mastering new techniques.
When posed with the question of which Bollywood star adapts to dance steps the quickest, Remo D'Souza remarked to IANS, “Most actors and actresses possess great dancing skills, making it simple for them to learn new routines. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are exceptional. Even actors like Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol can excel if presented with a style that fits them. I personally enjoyed collaborating with Sanjay Sir on my inaugural major song Kante – it was a phenomenal success!”
Discussing his upcoming show, "Hip Hop Season 2," the choreographer revealed what viewers can expect this season. “This time around, there are numerous fresh elements. I always emphasize that every new show introduces originality, showcasing emerging talent. All the performers contribute their unique skills, enhancing the originality of the show. There’s a wealth of new talent, innovative dance forms, and even a new judge, Malaika Ma’am. As for our judging criteria, we evaluate their dancing skills, stage presence, competitive spirit, and weekly progression. Based on these factors, we determine whether they advance or exit the show,” D'Souza elaborated.
Furthermore, when queried about the challenges of excelling in both Bollywood and hip-hop dance environments, Remo D'Souza acknowledged the distinct difficulties present in each realm. “Both arenas come with their own challenges. However, Bollywood choreography has a variety of obstacles. For instance, the music itself can pose difficulties – whether it’s a hip-hop rhythm or otherwise. In the context of hip-hop as a show, we witness the emergence of new dance styles each year, leading to continuous evolution.”
"Hip Hop India" returns with its eagerly awaited second season, with new episodes set to debut on Amazon MX Player. Two fresh episodes of "Hip Hop 2" will be available every Friday on Amazon MX Player.
