Mumbai, Nov 29 (NationPress) The acclaimed duo of actor and director, Ram Gopal Varma and Manoj Bajpayee, are set to collaborate once more on the upcoming horror comedy titled “Police Station Mein Bhoot.” As fans eagerly await the film's premiere, the director is keeping the buzz alive by providing glimpses into the project.
RGV took to his X (formerly Twitter) to share a captivating still from the film, featuring Bajpayee in police attire, gazing intensely at the camera from the shadows.
In his post, Ram Gopal Varma wrote, “@BajpayeeManoj in a moment from POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT (sic).”
Earlier this month, RGV also revealed the first look of actress Ramya Krishnan from the film.
The 'Baahubali' star showcases a unique look, adorned with bold kajal, dark lips, tousled hair, a nose ring, and eclectic jewelry. Her appearance is further accentuated by tattoos on her face and body.
“Here is @meramyakrishnan in POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT (sic),” the director captioned the image.
Prior to this project, RGV and Bajpayee collaborated on the 1998 film “Satya.”
Discussing his reunion with Bajpayee, Ram Gopal Varma expressed to IANS, “Reuniting with Manoj post-Satya is both exhilarating and reminiscent. Fear reaches its peak when it confronts the highest form of protective authority, and a police station embodies that power.”
As for the cast of “Police Station Mein Bhoot,” it includes Bajpayee alongside Genelia Deshmukh in the lead female role. The filmmaker noted, “With Manoj’s intensity paired with Genelia’s softness, this narrative will redefine our perception of horror cloaked in authority.”
