Mumbai, Nov 3 (NationPress) Renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is set to captivate movie enthusiasts with his upcoming horror-comedy film, “Police Station Mein Bhoot,” featuring talented actors Manoj Bajpayee and Genelia Deshmukh.
In a move that has generated considerable buzz, RGV has unveiled the debut look of actress Ramya Krishnan from the film.
The 'Baahubali' star will showcase a unique persona in “Police Station Mein Bhoot”.
The image shared by the director on social media presents Ramya Krishnan with striking heavy kajal around her eyes, a dark lip shade, disheveled hair, a nose ring, and quirky jewelry, suggesting her role as an occult specialist in the film. She is also depicted with various tattoos adorning her face and body, enhancing her intriguing new look.
Sharing Ramya Krishnan's primary appearance from the film on his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Ram Gopal Varma remarked, “Here is @meramyakrishnan in POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT (sic).”
“Police Station Mein Bhoot” signifies the reunion of Ram Gopal Varma with Manoj Bajpayee after nearly three decades, as they last collaborated on the 1998 film “Satya.”
Discussing this latest project, Ram Gopal Varma expressed to IANS, “Collaborating with Manoj again after Satya is both exhilarating and nostalgic. Fear becomes most terrifying when it confronts the highest authority of protection, and a police station epitomizes power.”
On the cast of “Police Station Mein Bhoot,” the filmmaker added, “With Manoj’s intensity and Genelia’s vulnerability, this narrative will broaden our perceptions of horror disguised as authority.”
Previously, Genelia conveyed that she had a “scarily good time” working alongside Manoj Bajpayee.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Genelia wrote on her official IG, “First time stepping into a world where fear meets fun. Had a scarily good time sharing the screen with @bajpayee.manoj in POLICE STATION MEIN BHOOT, directed by the maverick @RGVzoomin (sic).”
“A thriller like no other, built on a chilling thought: 'When we’re scared, we run to the police. But where do the police run when they’re scared?'” she concluded.
