Mumbai, Feb 10 (NationPress) NCP-SP legislator Rohit Pawar conducted a press briefing on Tuesday, making explosive allegations surrounding the recent airplane incident involving the deceased NCP leader Ajit Pawar.

Rohit Pawar accused the airplane crash of being more than just an unfortunate event, suggesting it was a "deliberate plot" (foul play).

He raised numerous inquiries regarding the aviation firm, the pilots, and the particular details of the flight on January 28.

During the press conference, he presented a comprehensive 50-slide PowerPoint presentation, addressing various elements of the incident, such as aircraft specifications, pilot qualifications, meteorological conditions at Baramati airport, and adherence to technical protocols.

Rohit Pawar insisted on a comprehensive investigation, stating, "We need to determine if foul play was involved. Ajit Dada was a significant leader. There are questions about why he had to fly on that day."

He elaborated, "Ajit Dada was initially scheduled to travel by car from Pune to Mumbai around 5 or 5:30 p.m. following a Cabinet meeting. A ‘prominent leader’ was meant to meet him. This leader arrived late, and the discussion extended, resulting in a critical delay. Due to this, the car journey was scrapped, and a flight was hastily arranged."

Rohit also pointed out that Ajit Pawar had recently taken precautions, such as shifting from drinking water from plastic to glass bottles, to evade possible tampering or poisoning.

"Ajit Dada was a warrior; no one could intimidate him. He opted for these measures because plastic bottles can be easily compromised," he remarked.

Utilizing photographs as proof, Rohit Pawar scrutinized the pilots' experience.

"The protocols adhered to during the aircraft's landing and technical factors indicate that the crash was "100 percent intentional."

When questioned about whether he had discussed these allegations with Sharad Pawar—who had previously stated that there was no political angle or foul play involved—Rohit Pawar clarified, "Pawar Saheb made that assertion just six hours post-accident. I am speaking after 13 days of research. What can one learn in six hours? With millions expected to gather the following day, providing incomplete information could have sparked unrest. Pawar Saheb possesses the maturity to navigate such delicate situations, but as a family member, I require clarity on how my uncle perished."

By questioning the aircraft's ownership and the timeline leading to the flight, Rohit Pawar has amplified calls for a high-level inquiry into the calamity.

He criticized the 14-day delay in the investigation, accusing the aviation firm of potentially manipulating evidence.

Rohit demanded accountability from the Clearance Engineer, Quality Engineer, and Maintenance Engineer, urging that charges of culpable homicide be filed against the aviation company's proprietors.

"The reality that the Chief Minister and other Ministers continue to use the same company’s aircraft post-tragedy is profoundly concerning," Rohit Pawar asserted.
