Mumbai, Oct 9 (NationPress) In a recent episode of “Two Much With Twinkle and Kajol,” actor Saif Ali Khan shared insightful advice passed down from his late father, Mansoor Ali Pataudi, regarding how to effectively handle marital disagreements.

Reflecting on his father’s words, Saif emphasized how this wisdom has helped him throughout his marital journey. When Kajol inquired about how Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna manage their differences, the renowned actor revealed that listening to one’s spouse is fundamental for a robust marriage. He remarked, “She is fire. I am water. She says whatever she wants to. I just keep myself calm and quiet. Just listen and try to understand what she’s trying to say.” He added, “Do whatever you want, but listen. I think every husband should be a good listener.”

In a lighthearted moment, Saif quipped that sometimes it suffices to “just act like you’re listening.” The ‘Omkara’ star then recounted his father’s advice during conflicts: to listen attentively, maintain eye contact, and focus on something else rather than speaking. Saif shared, “He told me, 'I just think about playing cricket or something during the argument. And I don't say anything. He said, 'Listen.' Look like you're listening.”

Amidst laughter, Saif also reminisced about his visits to Kajol’s home, humorously admitting he couldn’t recall even showering in her bathroom. Twinkle chimed in, “She had a little camera there. So, we have some images which she shared with me.” The actor then responded, “A little camera to capture little things…You were the first person I met in terms of movies when I came to Bombay. And we were living next to each other. Yes. I remember your house and your flat.”

Kajol fondly recalled her mother, Tanuja, encouraging Saif with, “If you want to take a bath here, just go ahead.” The group shared warm memories of their early days in Mumbai, including amusing anecdotes involving the late actor Saeed Jaffrey and a surprising mishap in the bathroom.
