New Delhi, May 8 (NationPress) The Shiv Sena-UBT expressed robust support for the armed forces while calling for decisive action during the all-party meeting held in the national capital on Thursday, following Operation Sindoor. This cross-border counter-terror initiative targeted nine terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

While commending the Indian Army for their precision and the magnitude of the strikes, the Shiv Sena-UBT insisted that the operation would remain unfinished until justice is attained for the tragic April 22 attack in Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 tourists.

"Operation Sindoor will remain incomplete until the six terrorists who tarnished the lives of our sisters are brought to justice," stated Sanjay Raut, a leader of the Shiv Sena-UBT, during the meeting.

"These terrorists should be presented at India Gate, identified, neutralized, and their remains returned to Pakistan. Only then will the nation feel that true vengeance has been enacted," he added.

The party also highlighted the critical need to enhance internal security. "The nation stands united during this challenging time,” Raut remarked, “but we must also address threats from within our borders. Pakistan’s sleeper cells are operational throughout the country. Safeguarding internal security is the direct obligation of the Home Ministry."

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who led the all-party meeting, reported that over 100 terrorists were neutralized in the operations across Pakistan and PoK.

Later, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijuju mentioned that all parties expressed their commendation for the armed forces and unitedly condemned terrorism.

"All parties demonstrated solidarity with the government. There was unanimous agreement that politics should not interfere with matters of national security, and all voices echoed similar sentiments. They praised the armed forces and pledged unwavering support to the government," he said.

He further noted that all parties exhibited political maturity and conveyed unequivocal support for both the armed forces and the government.

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, stated to the media that "we have extended our full support to the government."

The commitment shown by political parties in support of the armed forces reflects a moment of collective resolve.
