In the Women’s finals, Ganemat Sekhon, who barely made it into the finals as the eighth qualifier, shot consistently to secure first place with a score of 33 out of 36, edging out Parinaaz Dhaliwal, who finished with 32. Darshna Rathore took the third position with a score of 24.
Earlier in the qualification round, Parinaaz topped with a score of 117, followed closely by Vanshika Tiwari at 115, and Darshna Rathore and Raiza Dhillon both at 114. Maheshwari Chauhan and Yashasvi Rathore scored 113, with Mansi Raghuvanshi rounding out the top eight at 112.
In the Junior Men’s finals, Zorawar Singh Bedi shot 35 out of 36 after qualifying first with a score of 117.
Yuvek Battula secured second place with 34 hits, qualifying with a score of 109, while Gurfateh Singh Sandhu finished third with 28 hits after qualifying with 110.
Ishaan Singh Libra and Yashvardhan Singh Rajawat both scored 114 in qualification, followed by Yuvaan at 113. Navneet Singh Bhadouriya and Harviraj Singh completed the top eight with scores of 111 and 108, respectively.
In the Junior Women’s finals, Sanyogita Shekhawat finished first with 28 after qualifying in seventh with a score of 101. Kajal Singh Baghel, who qualified eighth with 100, took second place with 27.
Risham Kaur Guron, who led qualification at 110, settled for third with 23.
Agrima Kanwar and Venkat Lakshmi Lakku finished second and third in qualification with scores of 109 each, followed by Kamna Udawat and Parmeet Kaur with 104 each. Oshmi Shrivas completed the top eight with a score of 102.
Skeet action is set to continue tomorrow with the first 75 targets of Trails 2 scheduled.
