Somnath Temple '75 Years of Heritage' celebration: CM Dhami hails India's eternal culture
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday, 7 May described the Somnath Temple as a living symbol of India's eternal culture, unwavering faith, and indomitable spirit — one that has endured centuries of invasions and historical upheavals. His remarks came ahead of the '75 Years of Heritage Celebration', a four-day cultural event scheduled from 8 to 11 May at the Somnath Temple complex in Gujarat.
What the Celebration Marks
Chief Minister Dhami described the event as far more than a religious gathering. According to him, it is a grand celebration of India's cultural consciousness, spiritual heritage, and national pride. He said Somnath has stood as a beacon of Sanatan culture and spiritual resilience for thousands of years, sending a message to the world that India's cultural roots are eternal and unbreakable.
