Social activist Jai Prakash Yadav, affectionately referred to as Gandhi Yadav, will represent the Ghosi Assembly constituency in Jehanabad district.
This announcement was made by Tej Pratap during a gathering at his home on Tuesday.
When addressing the media, he stated, “The remarkable individuals of the Ghosi Assembly constituency have selected Gandhi Yadav. This in itself is commendable. I pay my respects to the esteemed populace of Jehanabad.”
Gandhi Yadav officially joined Team Tej Pratap alongside hundreds of his followers.
“Gandhi Yadav is eager to run with Team Tej Pratap. He is welcome. Numerous others are in the queue to join us, and we aim to engage with more people,” remarked Tej Pratap.
On the ongoing Voter Rights Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap commented, “Only Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav can truly understand the situation.”
Responding to questions about the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Bihar, he stated, “I won’t delve into that. With elections approaching, our focus is on the battle ahead.”
When queried about voters possessing dual IDs, Tej Pratap remarked, “Such occurrences tend to happen as elections near.”
Tej Pratap Yadav faced a six-year expulsion from both the RJD and his family due to the notorious Anushka Yadav incident.
Following this, he initiated his own platform, ‘Team Tej Pratap’.
Now, he is gearing up to contest the Bihar Assembly elections from Mahua, indicating a return to his political foundation and an attempt to reclaim his former stronghold.
Additionally, Tej Pratap’s recent comment regarding Jaichand has sparked discussions in Bihar’s political arenas.
While he has not clarified the specific target of his statement, it appears to be interpreted as a subtle critique of perceived treachery, possibly from within his former party, RJD.
