Patna, Oct 13 (NationPress) In a significant political shift ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, unveiled the inaugural list of 21 candidates representing his party, the Jantantrik Janata Dal (JJD), in Patna on Monday.
This revelation followed closely on the heels of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) disclosing its seat-sharing strategy for the elections on October 12, which ignited speculation that the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) might soon announce its own plans.
In a proactive move, Tej Pratap Yadav’s JJD took the lead by publishing its candidate list first.
Among the notable candidates, Tej Pratap Yadav is set to contest from the Mahua Assembly constituency in Vaishali district, a seat he successfully held in 2015.
