Mumbai, Sep 20 (NationPress) As “The Family Man” celebrates its sixth anniversary, National Award-winning actor Manoj Bajpayee has teased fans about the much-anticipated third season, declaring that “operation underway.”
In a recent Instagram post, Manoj shared a collection of images from the inaugural season, which premiered in 2018. The series, a spy action thriller, is crafted by Raj & DK and revolves around Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class individual covertly serving as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional entity of the National Investigation Agency.
In his caption, Manoj expressed: “6 years since #TheFamilyMan Season 1 dropped and became a cult classic. Season 3? Bas samajh lo, operation underway…”
The ensemble cast includes Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Notably, Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined the cast in the second season as the main antagonist, marking her debut in the digital space under the direction of Suparn S. Verma.
The second season depicted Srikant Tiwari's transition as he leaves TASC to focus on his family, only to be compelled by a formidable new adversary to return. He must now dismantle a perilous alliance between an old enemy and a dormant faction of foreign insurgents.
