The deceased was identified as Adarsh Poojari (23), a third-year MBBS student, while the injured student is Raunak Chawla.
They were riding from Canacona to Karwar when the accident occurred, resulting in Poojari being rushed to Canacona Community Health Centre, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Earlier, on October 26, a container lorry lost control and overturned into a ditch, leading to the deaths of two workers instantly and injuring four others near Siddaiyanadoddi in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of Bengaluru.

The lorry was speeding downhill when it lost control and plunged into a ditch, trapping the deceased workers.
