Jaipur, April 14 (NationPress) A devastating road accident transpired early on Tuesday at approximately 5:00 A.M. on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway within the Alwar district of Rajasthan. Tragically, three individuals, including the bus driver, lost their lives, and 33 passengers sustained injuries.

Among the 33 injured, 31 have been transported to Alwar for urgent medical care, with several individuals reported to be in critical condition. The incident occurred near the Channel Number 100 interchange culvert in the Pinan region of Alwar.

A passenger bus en route from Indore to Delhi collided with a truck carrying chemicals. The collision was so forceful that the front section of the bus was severely damaged.

Following the accident, traffic on the expressway was halted for a period.

The scene of the accident was chaotic and filled with shouts immediately post-collision. Most passengers were asleep when the crash unfolded.

A loud crash startled them awake, and many were found injured and bloodied. The incident has left passengers profoundly shaken.

Local police quickly arrived at the scene and, with assistance from nearby residents, initiated rescue efforts. Injured passengers were extracted from the wreckage and taken to local hospitals via ambulances.

The deceased include the bus driver, his wife, and their son. Their bodies have been taken to the mortuary at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Reni.

Of the injured, 31 were referred to Alwar for specialized treatment due to the severity of their conditions. At the Pinan CHC, only one doctor was available when the injured arrived. The doctor administered initial care before referring the critically injured to Alwar.

The bus departed from Indore around 9:00 PM and was on its way to Delhi.

The crash occurred shortly after the bus entered the Pinan area of Alwar district. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing. Notably, the driver’s wife and children were also passengers on the bus. While the driver, his wife, and their son perished, their three-year-old daughter survived with minor injuries. After receiving first aid, she was turned over to the Rajgarh Police.

Among those seriously injured are Ram Nehar (Kasal), Rakesh (Kasal), Rohitashwa (Kasal), Mannu Sharma (Kasal), Bittu (Bhiwadi), Satyanarayan (Mahendragarh), Anil Kumar (Delhi), Sanyam (Delhi), Achhan Kanwar (Gurgaon), Mahipal Singh (Bhiwadi), Palwinder Kaur (Punjab), Nitin Kartar (Indore), Ruby Bansal (Delhi), Akshay Yadav (Delhi), Aditi Verma (Himachal), Vaibhav Goyal (Rohini, Delhi), Arun (Faridabad), Divya Pratap (Bhiwadi), Rohit Sharma (Faridabad), Kavita (Delhi), Naveen (Gurgaon), Dheeraj (Bhiwadi), Naveen (Hisar), Manoj (Hisar), Anshu (Hisar), and Durga Kanwar (Bhiwadi).

All injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a government hospital in Alwar. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the factors that led to the crash.
