New Delhi, Jan 22 (NationPress) A 25-year-old individual tragically lost his life due to stabbing in the Mangolpuri locality of Delhi, as reported by police on Thursday, highlighting yet another instance of violence in the national capital in recent times.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, with the victim identified as Akash. Police officials indicated that the suspect has been recognized, and teams are actively working to locate and detain him.

An investigation is in progress, with additional information expected soon.

This incident follows closely behind the brutal stabbing death of a 21-year-old, identified as Krishna Sahu, on Sindhu Farm Road under the jurisdiction of the Jaitpur police station in southeast Delhi on January 16.

In that earlier case, two individuals, including a minor, were apprehended by the Jaitpur Police Station in connection with the stabbing incident that transpired late on the night of January 15.

The assault resulted in one fatality and left two others injured.

Initial inquiries suggested that the violence stemmed from a personal conflict between two groups regarding a mutual acquaintance.

According to police, the primary suspect named Deepak had been allegedly threatening the complainant, Prince, aged 19, through social media prior to the incident.

Officials stated that the victims were invited to meet the rival group under the guise of a reconciliation discussion.

However, during this meeting, tensions flared, leading to a physical altercation. The assailants reportedly attacked the victims with knives before fleeing the scene.

Authorities mentioned that the crime team examined the site and collected essential forensic evidence. A case is being registered under the relevant legal provisions.

Earlier, on January 15, two individuals were fatally stabbed in separate incidents throughout the city, with investigations ongoing in both situations.

In the first occurrence, a known criminal, identified as Mukesh, approximately 40 years old, was stabbed to death in the Kalyanpuri area of East Delhi.

Police reported that Mukesh was discovered lying in a pool of blood near a public restroom in Block-18 of Kalyanpuri. He was rushed to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

In another incident on the same day, a 23-year-old man named Ranjan was fatally stabbed in the JJ Colony area of Bawana, located in north Delhi.
