Mumbai, November 25 (NationPress) Renowned director and choreographer Farah Khan paid a visit to the residence of the late cinematic icon Dharmendra on the afternoon of November 25, following the actor's passing on November 24. The filmmaker extended her condolences to the Deol family during this challenging time. Actress Ananya Panday was also spotted arriving to support the mourning Deol family after the loss of the beloved superstar.

Ananya was elegantly dressed in a white salwar kameez as she made her way to the Deol household. On the day of the superstar’s passing, both Farah and Ananya expressed their grief on social media, commemorating the legacy of the great actor.

Farah shared a nostalgic photograph featuring herself with the legendary Bollywood figure, stating, “May God bless your soul, Dharamji. Your performances and vibrant personality have brought us years of joy! My heartfelt condolences to the Deol family.” Ananya also honored the veteran actor, posting throwback images of Dharmendra with her father, Chunky Panday.

She noted that her father’s first film in the industry was alongside Dharmendra. Accompanying a significant throwback picture, Ananya remarked, “My father’s initial shot in cinema was with Dharam Ji… forever cherished, forever in our hearts.” She additionally shared nostalgic photos of Dharmendra from her parents’ wedding reception.

In a separate social media tribute, Ananya included a picture of the late superstar and wrote, “The Greatest. Om Shanti.”

For those unaware, Dharmendra, who was hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai in mid-November, was released after showing signs of recovery. Reports indicated that he had been on a ventilator due to breathing issues.

As news of his passing spread, numerous Bollywood figures took to their social media platforms to honor the legendary actor and mourn his loss. Born in 1935 in Punjab, Dharmendra commenced his career in the early 1960s after being discovered through a talent hunt competition.

Some of his most acclaimed films include ‘Phool Aur Patthar’, Sholay, Blackmail, and Chupke Chupke. Dharmendra was honored with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award.
