Washington, Dec 10 (NationPress) “Weak” individuals are at the helm of a “decaying” group of nations in Europe, stated US President Donald Trump during an interview featured in Politico.
“I think they’re weak ... But I also believe that they are overly focused on being politically correct,” Trump remarked at the White House in the interview published this past Tuesday.
“They seem lost on what actions to take,” the president asserted. “Europe is at a loss for solutions.”
Trump warned that without a transformation in migration policies, several European countries “will cease to be viable nations,” as he described cities such as London and Paris struggling under the weight of migration from the Middle East and Africa, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
The president expressed skepticism regarding the effectiveness of European leaders in resolving the Ukraine crisis, stating, “They make promises, but they fail to deliver, and the conflict continues indefinitely.”
Trump indicated that Russia holds a significantly stronger position compared to Ukraine and reiterated his call for Ukraine to conduct new elections.
In the National Security Strategy published last Thursday, the Trump administration pledged to “foster resistance” against the existing European stance on immigration and other sensitive political matters.
European Council President Antonio Costa responded to the U.S. national security document on Monday, asserting, “Allies must not threaten to interfere in the democratic processes or political decisions of their partners.”
