Washington, Feb 25 (NationPress) - President Donald Trump announced that America is "achieving victories again," highlighting comprehensive tax reductions, what he termed the "most robust and secure border in American history," as well as a novel initiative aimed at protecting consumers from escalating electricity expenses associated with artificial intelligence.

"For all these reasons, I declare tonight—Members of Congress, our nation's situation is strong," Trump stated during his State of the Union address.

On economic matters, Trump asserted that his administration had provided "the most significant tax cuts in the history of the United States." He emphasized, "No taxes on gratuities. No taxes on additional hours worked. And no taxes on social security for our esteemed seniors."

Defending his tariff approach, he remarked, "One of the key factors contributing to our nation's remarkable economic recovery... were the tariffs," adding that "these influential, nation-saving, peace-ensuring tariffs will continue to be enforced."

"As time progresses, I am confident that tariffs, funded by foreign nations, will... largely replace the current income tax framework," he noted.

Trump contended that economic indicators had shifted dramatically. "The stock market has achieved 53 all-time record highs since the election," he stated, while asserting that inflation had decreased and investment pledges had soared.

On immigration, the President took a fighting stance. "We now possess the most formidable and secure border in American history," he declared. He claimed that during the last nine months, "not a single illegal immigrant has entered the United States."

He urged Congress to "eliminate perilous sanctuary cities" and endorse the "Save America Act to prevent illegal immigrants and other unauthorized individuals from participating in our sacred American elections."

"It’s straightforward: All voters must present identification. All voters must provide proof of citizenship to cast their vote," he stated.

Turning to the topic of artificial intelligence and energy consumption, Trump remarked, "Many Americans are worried that the energy needs of AI data centers could disproportionately inflate their electricity bills."

"Tonight, I am excited to unveil the new 'Rate Payer Protection Pledge,'" he announced, adding that tech companies would have "the responsibility to meet their own energy needs, ensuring that no one’s utility costs will increase."

"This is a groundbreaking strategy never before implemented in this country," he added.

Additionally, Trump launched a nationwide initiative targeting fraud, which will be spearheaded by Vice President J.D. Vance, stating that combating corruption could reinstate fiscal equilibrium.

"If we can uncover enough of that fraud, we could achieve a balanced budget overnight," he remarked.

Trump's comments on tariffs are particularly noteworthy for India, given the ongoing trade friction over steel, aluminum, and market access. Any expansion of tariff policies could impact Indian exporters.

The AI energy pledge also has significance for India, which is rapidly increasing its data center capacity and heavily investing in artificial intelligence infrastructure while balancing power demand and grid reliability.
