Did Twinkle Khanna Just Reveal the Secrets Behind ‘Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle’?

Mumbai, Sep 15 (NationPress) Author Twinkle Khanna added a touch of humor during the trailer launch for Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle, playfully mentioning that she and co-host Kajol acted like telemarketers—making 'cold calls' to invite guests, and whoever responded positively found themselves on their show.

At the trailer launch, Kajol remarked: 'You take this and you know put a female gaze on it and there's like we see you doing this and I was like yeah actually even I see myself doing it and you know I think universally we all were like oh god the only person that we can see you know who will be able to give us the sarcasm and the unfiltered things that we want to say but never do would be Twinkle.'

Kajol further shared: 'And that's how it all came together of course we've known each other for a while but no we've never collaborated on anything so yeah it was great fun and the BTS is way more fun I just want to tell you that.'

“Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle” will host some of Bollywood’s biggest stars including Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Govinda, Chunky Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, among others.

Discussing the guest list, Twinkle noted at the launch: 'And you said that we called our friends who say these are friends they're not. I mean we behave like insurance agents and telemarketers. We made cold calls to whoever said yes we got them on our show.'

The trailer gives a glimpse into the lives, thoughts, and emotions of their favorite celebrities—filled with inside jokes, treasured memories, career-defining moments, and, of course, a hint of spicy linkups and rumors, much to the delight of the audience.

Kajol, taking on the hosting role for the first time, stated: 'Twinkle and I go way back, and whenever we get talking, it’s delightful chaos—the most fun kind you can imagine! That’s really where the idea of this talk show came from. It’s us doing what we love most while catching up with friends from the industry the audience is always curious about.'

She emphasized that the duo has completely flipped the 'traditional talk-show format—no single host, no formulaic questions, and definitely no safe, rehearsed answers.'
