Recently, Chief Minister Yadav laid the groundwork for several development initiatives connected to Simhastha 2028, which also carry an estimated cost of Rs 662.46 crore. These initiatives encompass a new township and the expansion of water and sewer systems.
Notably, the state cabinet has allocated Rs 3,060 crore in the 2026-27 Budget for preparations related to Simhastha and has sought financial support from the Centre.
