Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the restaurant’s proprietor, Abhishek Panwar, chose the name 'Pradhanmantri Chaiwala', which translates to “Prime Minister Tea Seller”, as a tribute to PM Modi’s modest origins.
