Mumbai, Nov 30 (NationPress) Actress Urvashi Rautela has candidly shared her feelings regarding the profound emotional impact of the passing of legendary actor Dharmendra.

In a heartfelt post on her Instagram, she disclosed that she has struggled to work or process her emotions since the news. Urvashi articulated her sorrow and the immense void left by the iconic actor’s departure. She shared a nostalgic video from her debut film, “Singh Saab the Great”, featuring her dancing alongside Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Dharmendra.

In her caption, Urvashi reflected, “Life sometimes provides moments so invaluable that they become memories that simultaneously bring joy and pain. My first major role in cinema… my initial step into the industry… and fate allowed me to be with legends. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and the revered Dharmendra ji.”

“At just 18 and a half years old… I was innocent and anxious, completely unaware of the world I had entered. Yet there I was, sharing space with him between takes. Two chairs in a secluded area. Me, quaking with inexperience… and him, speaking with a gentleness that could soothe any storm. Those moments were not merely conversations; they were gifts. His words radiated warmth, wisdom, and illumination. Even now, when I close my eyes, those moments reside tenderly in my heart.”

Urvashi continued, “For the last 15 days, I have been struggling. I have found it impossible to work or to emotionally process what has happened. I understand… honestly… that most people do not notice another's silent suffering. However, my heart needed to express itself. Some grief simply cannot be contained. My parents often recounted their first memory of a film shoot in Nainital — how the entire world seemed to illuminate with Dharmendra ji’s presence. Throughout my upbringing, I heard: 'There will never be another hero as captivating, as handsome, or as pure as him.'”

She also mentioned, “I never imagined that my own debut film… my very first song… would allow me the privilege of sharing the screen with such a legend. Some blessings are too profound to comprehend upon their arrival; you only appreciate their significance when your heart aches with gratitude. Dharmendra ji… we will all miss you. I will miss you dearly.”

“One can never fully convey the depth of love, prayers, and silent hopes that surge from within for someone who has touched their spirit. Yet, I hope you receive them, wherever you may be. Veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89 in his Mumbai residence. He had been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital just 12 days prior, where he was receiving treatment at home.
