Dehradun, April 3 (NationPress) The government of Uttarakhand has initiated a significant reshuffling of four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, effective immediately, to enhance public administration.

As per a directive from the Home Department, this reshuffle encompasses crucial appointments related to the forthcoming Kumbh Mela and adjustments in district-level policing.

Amit Singh Rawat, formerly the Inspector General of Police (Personnel) at police headquarters, has been designated as the Inspector General of Police for the Kumbh Mela.
