Mumbai, July 17 (NationPress) Actor Viineet Kumar Siingh, who is preparing for the launch of his new streaming series 'Rangeen', believes that society and relationships require consistent updates akin to technological devices.
The actor pointed out that interpersonal dynamics have significantly evolved, propelling society forward.
He elaborated, “As we grow up acquiring life skills, we are seldom taught how to communicate or emotionally engage with our partners, despite this being a vital aspect of life. Consequently, when we enter relationships, we often feel perplexed and uncertain about managing challenges. Rather than staying put and resolving issues, we may opt for the simpler route—walking away. In the past, discussions surrounding love, marriage, and the dynamics between partners were frequently regarded as taboo, leaving people reluctant to share their thoughts and experiences openly. 'Rangeen' serves as a reminder that, similar to devices, we must also undergo updates—to grow, adapt, and evolve with the times.”
The series narrates the story of Adarsh, an ordinary individual who embarks on an extraordinary journey of self-discovery following an unexpected turn in his stagnant marriage. As Adarsh seeks the truth, he must confront challenging questions regarding masculinity, morality, and the delicate egos that shape our closest relationships.
The series features Rajashri Deshpande, Taaruk Raina, and Sheeba Chaddha in pivotal roles.
Viineet further stated, “'Rangeen' gently reminds us that truly understanding yourself and your partner as two distinct individuals is essential for functioning cohesively as a team. At its core, the show delves into two of life’s fundamental pillars: knowledge and acceptance.”
Directed by Pranjal Dua and Kopal Naithani, 'Rangeen' is produced by Kabir Khan and Rajan Kapoor, and penned by Amir Rizvi and Amardeep Galsin.
The series is slated to premiere on July 25 on Prime Video.
