Mumbai, April 17 (NationPress) Actor Vijay Varma, who plays the lead role in the newly launched streaming series ‘Matka King’, recently shared his experience with the collection of classic cars featured in the show.
In an interview with IANS during the show's promotional events, he revealed that stepping into the realm of vintage automobiles sparked a profound sense of curiosity within him.
He remarked, “There are numerous scenes set at the race course filled with some truly exquisite vehicles. I couldn’t resist capturing photos of them. I wondered, where can I catch a glimpse of these cars? The owner, a distinguished gentleman, has spent years collecting these masterpieces. There’s a passionate community of car enthusiasts dedicated to preserving and restoring these vehicles that are over a century old. They go to great lengths to find replacement parts, even importing them from Germany and beyond.”
He further elaborated, “If the oil needs to be specific, they source it from places that most people would never think to look. They are hands-on in the repairs and sourcing of tires. There exists a vibrant community of car lovers who share insights and information with each other. I was truly captivated by this entire world.”
