Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Gorakhpur, Feb 14 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to lodge an FIR against individuals found guilty of filing deceptive investigation reports in any matter. He stressed that every issue should be addressed only after a thorough and unbiased inquiry. He warned that any negligence or carelessness in managing cases would be deemed unacceptable.
The Chief Minister shared these directives while addressing public concerns during the Janta Darshan at the Gorakhnath Temple.
During the outreach event held outside the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan within the temple grounds, he interacted with approximately 150 attendees and heard their grievances. He reassured them that their issues would be resolved swiftly, stating there was no need for alarm as the administration would guarantee effective handling of all legitimate complaints.
Instructing local administrative and police officials on-site, the Chief Minister underlined the importance of timely, fair, and quality resolution of complaints.
In several cases presented during the Janta Darshan, complainants accused officials of submitting false reports during investigations. Taking this matter seriously, he called for a comprehensive inquiry and directed that an FIR be filed against those who submitted fabricated reports.
“There must be no negligence or indifference in assisting victims. Any delays in addressing public concerns will result in consequences. If any case is intentionally delayed at any level, strict measures will be enforced against those involved,” he emphasized.
He also mandated rigorous legal action in instances of land grabbing.
Numerous attendees requested financial support for medical treatment during the event. The Chief Minister ordered officials to hasten the preparation of hospital estimates and forward them to the government, assuring that sufficient assistance would be allocated from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Earlier that day, CM Yogi adhered to his usual routines at the Gorakhnath Temple. After offering prayers to Guru Gorakhnath and honoring the statue of his mentor, the late Mahant Avedyanath, he toured the temple area.
He visited the cowshed, performed ‘gau seva’, and personally fed jaggery to the cows. He also warmly engaged with children accompanying their families to the Janta Darshan, distributing chocolates and encouraging them to concentrate on their education.
