Ahmedabad, Sep 25 (NationPress) Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group, emphasized the pivotal role of young entrepreneurs in what he termed India's ‘second freedom struggle’—not a quest for liberation from foreign domination, but rather for autonomy in technology and social innovation that elevates every community, bridges divides, and reinforces the democratic fabric.
During his speech at the fourth edition of Adani Green Talks held here, Gautam Adani declared our commitment to this ‘second freedom struggle’—freedom from inequality, inertia, and indifference.
“The freedom to dream audaciously, my friends, encapsulates the essence of Green Talks. It is founded on the conviction that every innovative idea carries the potential for transformation. It serves as a reminder that growth is not linear; it is often unpredictable and invisible,” remarked the billionaire industrialist.
“Until, of course, a green shoot emerges, heralding a new chapter of freedom and optimism. Within that delicate green shoot lies the spirit of every grand dream that has shaped history,” noted the Adani Group Chairman.
In just three editions of Green Talks, numerous dreams have been assessed, leading to 15 extraordinary companies presenting their visions on stage.
“In a world where nine out of ten startups fail, it’s inspiring to witness how many of our dreamers have already defied the odds,” stated Gautam Adani.
He went on to express that as an entrepreneur, “I understand intimately what it means to dream. Ultimately, it is the dreamers who dare to create legacies that even history cannot obliterate. Among the many entrepreneurs I encounter, those who inspire me the most are the social entrepreneurs. They embark on their journeys not in pursuit of wealth but to foster a better society.”
Gautam Adani asserted that the ultimate goal is to transform Green Talks into more than just a platform.
“It should evolve into a vibrant platform for collaboration, where India’s innovation converges with global imagination. A space where social startups ignite ideas, unite in purpose, and strive for the betterment of humanity. It must cultivate an ecosystem where every participant is connected not by mere transactions, but by a collective mission to advance with integrity—leaving behind a brighter, more sustainable world,” the Adani Group Chairman emphasized.
