New Delhi, May 24 (NationPress) The preliminary payroll statistics from the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) reveal that 16.33 lakh new workers have been registered in March of this year.
Additionally, 31,514 new establishments have been incorporated into the social security framework of the ESI Scheme during March, thereby broadening the safety net for numerous workers, as stated by the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Analysis of the data shows that among the 16.33 lakh new employees, 7.96 lakh, or approximately 49%, belong to the age group of up to 25 years.
