New Delhi, May 21 (NationPress) The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) reported an addition of 14.58 lakh net members in March, marking a 1.15 percent increase in net payroll additions compared to the same month in 2024, as announced on Wednesday.
During March 2025, EPFO welcomed approximately 7.54 lakh new subscribers, reflecting a 2.03 percent growth over February and a 0.98 percent year-over-year increase compared to March 2024.
This surge in new subscribers can be attributed to the rise in employment opportunities, heightened awareness of employee benefits, and the effective outreach initiatives by EPFO.
A striking detail in the statistics is the predominance of the 18-25 age group, which saw 4.45 lakh new subscribers, accounting for a remarkable 58.94 percent of the total new additions in March 2025.
New subscribers in the 18-25 age group displayed a growth of 4.21 percent compared to February 2025, and a 4.73 percent increase from March 2024.
