New Delhi, Feb 6 (NationPress) The US-India Business Council (USIBC) announced on Thursday that it will spearhead a high-ranking delegation to India Energy Week 2025 this month, which is expected to be the world’s second largest energy event.

USIBC's involvement in India Energy Week 2025, taking place in the national capital from February 11-14, will include crucial discussions with Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri regarding The Future of India-U.S. Energy Partnership.

The United States and India are committed to enhancing energy security and fostering deeper collaboration between their private sectors, as stated by USIBC.

Rahul Sharma, Managing Director of USIBC India, highlighted the significant contributions made by Indian and US businesses in demonstrating the robust energy partnership characterized by advanced technology and investments between the two nations.

Sharma remarked, “The U.S. and India are set to bolster our energy security and economic development. Both countries are dedicated to energy innovation, new technologies, and reinforcing energy supply chains. The world’s two largest democracies will further enhance their energy collaboration as a strategic foundation of the bilateral trade and investment relationship.”

USIBC applauded the government for the third edition of India Energy Week and expressed eagerness to maintain close cooperation with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Venkat Kannan, President–Gas Power Solutions, Asia, GE Vernova, who is leading the USIBC’s delegation, stated, “As India’s energy transition speeds up, we are thrilled to collaborate with USIBC and engage in discussions at India Energy Week 2025.
