New Delhi, Jan 24 (NationPress) With the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India Energy Week has developed into a robust platform for fostering enduring global energy collaborations, stated Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday.
In a recent post on social media platform X, Puri indicated that India Energy Week 2026 will signify a transition from mere discussions to actionable partnerships in the worldwide energy arena.
“Thanks to PM Modi's leadership, India Energy Week has evolved into a venue for lasting international energy collaborations,” Puri remarked.
The event is expected to convene significant international and domestic stakeholders to enhance synergy across various energy value chains.
“Part of the agenda includes the 9th Prime Minister’s Roundtable, where foreign CEOs, Indian private sector leaders, and representatives from public sectors will come together,” he added.
“This will be further enriched by the India-Arab Energy Dialogue, an India-Japan Roundtable following previous discussions in Tokyo, along with additional roundtables featuring Iceland, the Netherlands, and the India-US Business Council,” he highlighted.
Puri expressed that these initiatives will align global investment strategies and policy frameworks with India’s rapidly growing energy demands.
He also mentioned that the roundtable will be backed by numerous focused dialogues, including the India-Arab Energy Dialogue and the India-Japan Roundtable, which will be a continuation of earlier discussions in Tokyo.
Moreover, India will host energy roundtables with nations such as Iceland and the Netherlands, along with engagements involving the India-US Business Council.
According to Puri, India Energy Week 2026 will showcase participation from 11 country pavilions, indicating strong global interest.
Several bilateral meetings are also in the pipeline, involving senior leadership, including the Prime Minister.
Puri concluded by stating that these interactions further solidify India’s role as a global energy facilitator and illustrate how India Energy Week has transformed into a critical forum for sustained international energy cooperation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance.
