New Delhi, March 28 (NationPress) The Hinduja Group's Ashok Leyland revealed on Friday that its defense division has secured a series of contracts totaling over Rs 700 crore for providing vehicles to the Army.
The vehicles to be delivered under these contracts are designed to meet the defense sector's requirements for troop transport, logistics, and various specialized mobility needs under the Close-in Weapon Systems (CIWS) initiative.
The newly awarded contracts feature a wide array of specialized vehicles, such as the Stallion 4x4, Stallion 6x6, Short Chassis Bus, and Mobility System Travelling Platform.
