New Delhi, March 3 (NationPress) Finland is now welcoming skilled Indian professionals to explore a variety of opportunities in fields such as IT software development, engineering, game development, and post-doctoral research, as stated in an official announcement on Monday.
Business Finland serves as the official government agency dedicated to fostering trade and investment, financing innovation, promoting tourism, and attracting talent.
According to the statement from Business Finland, Indian professionals looking to advance their careers in Finland can access detailed resources about living and working in the nation, along with job openings, on the Work in Finland website.
Laura Lindeman, Senior Director of Business Finland’s Work in Finland unit, highlighted Finland’s proactive stance in encouraging global talent, particularly in the IT and technology sectors, to explore the opportunities available in the country.
“In the long term, Finland is in search of experts, especially IT specialists in software development, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Finland provides an exceptional environment for professionals to excel in a country that prioritizes innovation, sustainability, and a well-rounded lifestyle,” Lindeman added.
Sanna Marttinen, Executive Director at Tulanet, oversees the new Postdoctoral Programme for Research Institutes. “Our mission is to facilitate collaboration among 11 Finnish government research institutes, and we are thrilled about the substantial government investment in research and development (R&D),” Marttinen stated.
This programme, supported by the government’s multi-year R&D plan, aims to engage 85 new postdoctoral researchers from 2025 to 2028, with salaries around 4,000 euros.
